I just want everyone to know that you DO NOT have to have the perfect golden hour sunlight to get pretty pictures! Savannah + Kevin’s pictures were from 9:30-11:00 in the morning on an overcast and humid day that at some points looked like it was going to rain! Those clouds made those fall colors pop, AND since we were not fighting shadows and lighting, the day was ours and we could really have done the session at any point during the day! I can’t wait for Savannah + Kevin’s wedding in November! It is going to be gorgeous, and for now, let’s just enjoy these stunning and sophisticated photographs!
I have not made a blog post in so long. Honestly, I don’t even know if anyone even reads blog posts anymore, but I can’t NOT share all of these beautiful pictures of my clients! Back in early February, we took Jennah’s bridal portraits at Bellingrath Gardens in Mobile. Even though it was February, the weather was warm and perfect (gotta love Mobile for that warm winter weather!) I LOVED that Jennah picked an off-white dress that would stand out AND it was so flowy and easy to move in! How pretty is Jennah, her dress, and this location?!
All of these beautiful weddings…all of the beautiful, most graceful couples trusting me to capture their day. To call myself blessed would be an understatement. To say that I stand in complete awe and full thanksgiving, praising Him with my whole being for sending the most amazing, generous, funny, laid-back couples my way would be a bit more accurate. I thank Him for sending me the couples who laugh fully and love so deeply that it is evident to everyone around them. Not only am I thankful for the couples, but I am thankful for their families who are so warm and inviting, I am thankful for the other vendors that I had the honor of working with and getting to know, and I am so thankful for the privilege to humbly be a part of such a holy and special day. To all of those that made 2018 the best year, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. 2019, I’m ready for you and all of the new adventures and faces that you hold.
